Bob Bailey
Bob Bailey is our President. He also does most
of the coaching and wordsmithing. He has been an independent
for over five years and worked with speakers extensively long
before that.
Bob helps high level business leaders project
power, presence and persuasion. He helps executives establish
emotional bonds with their audience so they come away feeling
good. "If the audience likes you they will follow you
anywhere and buy anything from you."
Bob helps high tech business presenters communicate
to produce results - the first time and every time. A former
software developer, marketing manager, and sales manager,
Bob has the knowledge and experience to help executives reach
their goals by delivering polished, focused, powerful presentations.
He has helped professionals get consistently better results.
His technical background helps the high tech
speaker translate technical jargon into language that is technically
meaningful yet persuasively effective. Bob is outstanding
at creating analogies, translating features into benefits,
and making it meaningful for the audience.
Bob believes that most presenters worry too
much about their issues. Symptoms are nervousness or overconfidence,
lack of preparation, unclear goals, and inadequate audience
analysis. He helps his clients fix those problems.
Bob is the Presentation Coach for the Storyboard
Project (co-sponsored by Interboard, Potomac Knowledgeway
Netpreneur Program, and the GMU Technology Resource Alliance).
He makes sure every word counts and every speaker appears
strong and confident.
Bob began presenting and coaching after he founded
Washington Whitewater in 1978. He has been active in the National
Speakers Association DC (NSA-DC), formerly the National Capitol
Speakers Association (NCSA). In 1996, Bob's colleagues showed
their respect for his work by choosing him to present at NCSA's
prestigious Speakers School .
According to Mark Twain, "It usually takes
more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech."
Today's managers and entrepreneurs don't have that kind of
time to prepare; Bob can help you maximize your preparation
time. He can help you create and deliver powerful, polished
presentations that achieve your goals. Isn't that why you
came to the event?
